The United States Navy Memorial takes to form of a large granite map of the world (overlooked by the Lone Sailor) within an amphitheater surrounded by fountains and bronze relief sculptures commemorating events in naval history, along with many inscriptions from or about the navy. It's located right at the Archives-Navy Mem'l-Penn Quarter Metro station.
