New York, NY - April 15, 2006
Trinity Church, at the intersection of Broadway and Wall Street, was originally built in 1698, destroyed by fire in 1776, rebuilt in 1790, torn down due to storm damage in 1839, and rebuilt once more in 1846. At 281 feet tall, its spire was the tallest point in New York until 1890. It remains a quiet, peaceful spot in the middle of the city.
