New York, NY - April 15, 2006

St. Paul's Chapel is right across the street from the World Trade Center site and was largely undamaged on 9/11, after which it hosted an eight-month volunteer relief effort. Currently, they have an interactive walk-through exhibit called Unwavering Spirit about their role in this effort, complete with souvenier stands in the sanctuary. It made me a little sad, and not necessarily in the way it was supposed to.
