Maryland Zoo in Baltimore - April 28, 2007

Ah yes, one of the all-time greats among sleepy animals: the cat. Any cat owner can tell you that despite random attacks of frenzied energy, cats largely prefer to just lie around most of the time. Preferably while being petted but not there I bite you! Big cats, it seems, are not really any different than their domesticated cousins. Except for the ability to literally rip your head off. That's a little different.
