The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is a nice little zoo in the northern part of the city. It's a bit small, not like the Philadelphia, Bronx, or National Zoos (ones I was more familiar with growing up), but it makes for a good day trip. You can see otters, big cats, polar bears. Ducks. You know. Animals.
