Alcock and Brown deserve some respect, too
Washington DC - June 16, 2006

You know, people somehow tend to forget that 81 people crossed the Atlantic non-stop before Charles Lindbergh did it in the Spirit of St. Louis. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's awesome that he did it solo and that's well worth his legendary status, but can anyone tell me who flew the first nonstop transatlantic flight? Anyone? Didn't think so.
