Washington DC - June 16, 2006

This was one of twelve lunar modules built for the Apollo Project, intended (but never used) to test seperation, rendezvous, and docking techniques in low Earth orbit. The first such test vehicle was apparently so successful that this second one was not actually needed. That, or the cameras filming the "moon landing" in the Nevada desert ran out of film.
