Triangle
Look! Orbs!
Gettysburg, PA - Summer 2002

The Triangular Field is a small field surrounded by a knee-high stone wall.  The say that after the battle, you could walk form one side of the field to the other without touching the ground, just by walking on the piled-up bodies.  As a result, it's supposedly one of the most haunted places on the battlefield. It is notorious, in particular, for messing up cameras.  I, however, have never had a problem there.

By the way, I was a ghost tour guide in Gettysburg for a while.  Can you tell?

while visiting the battlefield, and walking the triangle field, i heard what sounded (to me) like massive amounts of machine gun fire. asking at the park service office, i was told that there were no re-enactors onsite. btw, the happened in the wooded area, not the clearing. in the clearing i couldn't hear anything, not even my husband calling me, from the steps. the wooded area was LOUD.
