Patuxent River, MD - September 21, 2006
To cross over the Patuxent between Calvert County and Saint Mary's County, MD, you have to go over the Thomas Johnson Bridge. It's a fairly steep arch, peaking high above the river to allow ships to pass underneath without making it into a drawbridge. The result, as you're driving over, is the effect that the bridge goes right into the sky and drops you off into nothingness. It's neat!
Oh right, the picture. Taken from the bridge, trails in the water. Boats. I dunno.
