At "Backyard Science" day at the Maryland Science Center they had a bat guy who brought, among other neat bats, this giant flying fox, the largest bat in the world. This particular one had an injured wing and was unable to fly. She was also not real fond of being woken up for this.
I guess I really have pretty much given up on this section just being wild animals, huh? I suppose I could make a section just for captive animals, but that would just be kinda sad, wouldn't it?
