Lucky swan
Logan Circle, Philadelphia, PA - August 25, 2004

This particular statue on the Swann Memorial Fountain symbolizes the Wissahickon River.  The swan she is leaning on apparently represents the founder of the Philadelphia Fountain Society, Dr. Wilson Cary Swann, for whom the fountain is named.
