Newport News, VA - March 17, 2006

Carbon Leaf is an excellent Celtic-inspired rock band that I've seen perform twice (for free, both times). They were performing at a St. Patrick's Day festival in Newport News that I was brought to as a surprise. Pictured are Terry Clark on acoustic guitar, songwriter and lead vocalist Barry Privett, Carter Gravatt on electric guitar, and the spectral shadow ghost of bassist Jordan Medas. Unfortunately cut out of the frame is the drummer, Scott Milstead.

Incidentally, it took me for-freaking-ever to get this shot, but it turned out just like I wanted. Better, even, considering how bad my camera is in low light.
